Here’s where to find all five Kansai locations.
Kansai has five Costco warehouses, spread across Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto prefectures. None are in Nara, Wakayama, or Shiga yet — all five sit in the Osaka–Kobe–Kyoto corridor.
1. Costco Izumi (Osaka)

South of Osaka city, closer to Kansai Airport than downtown. Opened in 2014, next to a LaLaport mall. Nearest station: Izumi-chuo (Semboku Rapid Railway), then a short bus or taxi ride.
2. Costco Kadoma (Osaka)

Located closer to central Osaka, near LaLaport Kadoma and Mitsui Outlet Park. A 10-minute walk from Kadoma-shi Station on the Keihan Main Line.
3. Costco Amagasaki (Hyogo)

One of the larger Kansai locations, with a full lineup including a gas station, between Osaka and Kobe.
4. Costco Kobe (Hyogo)

In Tarumi Ward, accessible via the Kobe subway Seishin-Yamate/Gakuentoshi line. No gas station at this branch.
5. Costco Kyoto Yawata

Despite the “Kyoto” name, it sits roughly midway between Kyoto and Osaka in Yawata City, not near central Kyoto. Nearest station is Matsuiyamate on the JR Gakkentoshi Line.
6. Costco Higashiomi (Shiga)

Shiga Prefecture’s first-ever Costco, opened in August 2024. Located near Lake Biwa’s eastern shore, about a 10-minute taxi ride from Yokaichi Station on the Omi Railway Main Line.
